I had a lovely stay at haus am moos bed & breakfast during my christmas party visit. The amazing mountain views from my balcony totally exceeded my expectations. Walter was gracious and the breakfast was plentiful and varied

I had a wonderful stay at Haus Am Moos, appreciating the warm hospitality from the Stasser family, who were eager to offer suggestions for activities. The breakfast spread was impressive, featuring fresh fruits and homemade pastries. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a lovely view of the mountains.

Location is a bit far from downtown.

decor is a bit dated and doesn’t have that “wow” factor, especially for the price. also, I was appalled to find there was no AC during an unusually hot night. I nearly gave a good review, but honestly, I expected a complimentary gesture for all my trouble. what a letdown!

Our stay was marred by the lack of AC, which made the room uncomfortable during hot nights. The decor felt dated and didn't match the expectation set by some promotional images. Additionally, we noticed that many places in Salzburg, including shops and restaurants, closed relatively early, making our evening outings limited.

It was just a great match for a flash stay in Salzburg with very good value for money. Make sure to take advantage of the bus service nearby for easy access to town.
